At Infinity Dental Clinic, we use the latest, state-of-the-art digital scanners to provide our patients with the highest standards of dental care. Our in-house CBCT scanner also enables us to meticulously plan your treatment to increase accuracy and reduce treatment times.
01. Consultation
Following your CBCT scan and consultation with our Implant team, led by Dr Mohsin Patel, you will be provided with a detailed bespoke dental report. This will include the clinical and radiographic findings, the treatment options, timescales, what the procedures will involve and the associated fees.
02. Implant Placement
03. Implant Integration
Dental Implants can take between 6 weeks and 3 months to osseointegrate or ‘bond’ with the underlying bone. You should expect to feel little or no pain during this period.
04. Implant Retained Denture Manufacture
Once integrated, the Dental Implants are ready to have the denture fitted over the top. We are one of only a few dental practices in the UK to provide the latest Digital Dental techniques enabling us to perform Implant Dentistry with optimum precision. Our in house CBCT Scanner and Digital Scanners allows us to provide the highest standards in Dentistry at our clinic.
We work with an experienced prosthodontic technical team specialising in making Implant Retained Dentures.
The stages of constructing an Implant Retained Denture are similar to making a conventional denture, however, the Implant Retained Denture will ‘clip’ onto the dental implants. This will securely ‘lock’ the denture in place.
Alternatively, we can provide a customised bar to provide additional rigid support for our patient’s who require extra stability. This is beneficial for patients who require absolutely no movement of their teeth in the mouth. If you prefer the idea of completely fixed teeth, we also offer full arch dental implants and Same Day Dental Implants using All-on-four or All-on-Six.
We understand that choosing full arch implants with same day teeth is a significant decision, and you may have many questions. At Infinity Dental Clinic, we believe in providing complete clarity and peace of mind throughout your journey.
Am I suitable for Implant Retained Dentures?
Are your dentures loose or do you worry about them falling out? Do you find it difficult to eat your favourite foods? Are you embarrassed about your smile or do you suffer from confidence issues due to having a loose denture? If so and you are dissatisfied with your traditional dentures, then an Implant Retained Denture is perfect for you.
Most adults with good general health are suitable for Dental Implant treatment.
How long do implant retained dentures take?
At Infinity Dental Clinic we understand that your time is valuable, and so we aim to complete it in as timely manner as possible. Dental implant treatment on average will take 3-6 months to complete.
We also understand that no one wants to spend time with teeth ‘missing’, therefore, we are able to provide tooth replacement solutions from day one.
How to care for Implant Retained Dentures?
The Implant Denture is brushed morning and night, and cleaned with a denture cleaning agent. The implants are cleaned using a toothbrush in the same way you would brush your teeth.
How much do Implant Retained Dentures cost?
Here at Infinity Dental Clinic we work hard to find a solution that meets all our patients expectations on desired outcome both clinically and financially. We will supply you with all relevant treatment options and the associated prices involved, allowing you to make the right decision for you regarding your dental implant care.
We will provide you with a bespoke dental report. This will consist of an overview of your current dental condition and all of the treatment options available. We understand that this is a big decision and that is why we want to give you the time to consider the information. Our team will be available to answer all of your questions.
Can you replace multiple missing teeth?
We can use Dental Implants to replace one or several adjacent missing teeth. Larger gaps created by two, three or more missing teeth do not necessarily need an individual implant for each tooth. We can fit three or four teeth on a bridge supported by two Dental Implants. The exact number of Dental Implants required will depend on the results of your consultation with our implant team. We can even replace a full arch with Same Day Dental Implants: All-on-Four or All-on-Six.
Am I suitable for Dental Implants?
Most adults with good general health will be suitable for Dental Implant treatment. Your Implant consultation will include a medical history, thorough clinical examination, photographs, a digital intra-oral scan and x-rays. We will also take a digital CT scan of your mouth for anatomical assessment using our in house CBCT scanner.
Following your assessment, our implant team will calculate the optimum size and position of your Dental Implant. If this demonstrates that the underlying bone is deficient, a simple bone regeneration procedure will be provided alongside your treatment.
We understand that all cases are different, so if you have any questions please contact our treatment coordinator for a complimentary consultation.
What is a bone regeneration procedure?
In most cases this is a routine procedure carried out alongside Dental Implant placement. It involves simply adding bone graft material around the implant, to ‘bulk out’ the underlying bone. This repairs any bone damage caused due to previous infection, gum disease, trauma or extraction. We use Geistlich, the world’s leading bioactive bone graft materials which improve your bone quality and density, allowing for better ‘attachment’ of your dental implant to your bone.
How long does Dental Implant treatment plan take?
At Infinity Dental Clinic we understand that your time is valuable, and so we aim to complete it in as timely manner as possible. Dental implant treatment on average will take 3 months to complete.
We also understand that no one wants to spend time with a ‘gap’ or missing teeth, therefore, we are able to provide immediate tooth replacement solutions from day one.
Are Dental Implants painful?
Dental Implant treatment is carried out under local anaesthesia and so we will ensure that you will not be able to feel any pain throughout the appointment. There are no nerves, unlike when treating teeth, and so many patients find it a lot more comfortable than other dental treatments. If patients are worried about the procedure then it can also be carried out under sedation. We will be supporting you every step of the way to minimise any disruption to your life during the treatment period.
How to look after your Dental Implant
Dental Implants will look and feel very much like a natural tooth. You should clean them in the same way as you clean your own natural teeth, our hygienist will demonstrate this to you.
Regular dental check-ups are important to ensure that we can keep your teeth and implants healthy.
How long do Dental Implants last?
Well-maintained Dental Implants can be expected to last for many years and, in most cases, a lifetime. 97% are still there after 20 years.
